As an outsider of the fashion industry with world-wide brand recognition, Crocs is poised on the cusp of cool. The one thing holding it back: well, they’re Crocs, the shoe Times Magazine named one of the worst inventions ever. How can the most ridiculed shoe shed its public perception? 

We’re in the Internet Age, where up can be down, tacky can be fashionable, and a simple egg can be the most liked Instagram post ever. By leaning into the joke and attacking the web with unapologetic irreverence, Crocs can swiftly reposition itself as an industry leader.
